About Us

Hi I'm Karen, the owner of Bright-Eternal Home. 

I run Bright-Eternal in my spare time around my full time job. My day job is working in HR for a large global company and, being a people person, I love what I do. As with any job there are some aspects of HR work that can be stressful and less enjoyable. Bright-Eternal gives me an outlet to escape and leave everything else behind. It also gives me somewhere to channel my creativity. 

I previously worked in Retail for over 10 years and as a self-confessed shopaholic, I know how important customer experience is and the joy that comes from a positive shopping experience.  

I often find myself 'working' late into the evening on new product ideas or making tweaks to the website because I want everyone that shops with me to have a happy experience. 

Bright-Eternal Home was born in February 2020 after I discovered a passion for making wax melts. I have always enjoyed using wax melts in my home and in 2019 I decided to have a go at making my own. This quickly became a real hobby and I found I was spending all my spare time making them.

After a friend suggested I try selling them online I set up an Etsy store and quickly got to work thinking about how to package them and make them appealing to shoppers. I spent many hours doing my research to ensure that every product I make is good quality and meets all the required safety standards.

Next I thought about a name for the business. I wanted a name that really meant something to me. So I decided to use my Mum's initials as a starting point and thought of words that I related to her. I quickly settled on Bright-Eternal Home.

Now every sale feels like it honours my Mum's memory and she is with me on the journey to what I hope will be a successful business. The next stage was to set up a dedicated website to give me more control over how I engage and sell to my customers. 

So when you shop Bright-Eternal, you're not just buying a product, you're buying something born out of love, dedication and passion.

 In the future, I'd love to expand and add more products to our range but for now we are starting small and hoping to see our little business grow.
